What story I’m currently working on:

I started into the final Discord’s Desire book, y’all. I’m itching to write queer contemporary, but this is the last of my PNR series that needs wrapping up, so I’m going to try to put some mega focus on finishing that one up. As much as I want to start Outlaws 2, Dungeons and Dating 2, or Charmed in Charleston 4, all of those series fit the new direction I’m heading in, and this one is the last of my PNR series to wrap up. I hit 4k in Alluring Refrain, which is a solid head start. I’m going to be doing sprints to try and push through this book, because it’s going to take a lot of solid effort since I haven’t been in the PNR mindset for awhile.

What I’m editing/marketing:

I DID finish editing Restrained Desires, which was a massive accomplishment. That means the entire Rehoboth Pact trilogy is ready to roll once I find a publisher and get things situated. It’s super exciting. I also dove into Saving Throw and reworked some of that, so now I’m sending out submissions in the hope that Dungeons and Dating #1 has a home by the end of the year. With the beta reader responses rolling in for Tempting Fire, I’ll probably be able to work on editing that one soon, and Waking for Winter, my final release of the year, comes out next week!

When it came to revolutions, Jett was staunchly in Camp Fuck That Shit.

Unfortunately, his bandmates had refused to take that memo.

Their drummer was even screwing the leader of this whole mutiny.

Which somehow meant they were driving to the one city he’d managed to avoid for quite some time, a place both he and Trevor stored up some bad memories. Big, maybe, but there was nothing Easy about returning to New fucking Orleans.

What story I’m currently working on:

Currently, writing is on a break while I play catch up with everything I pushed aside to get those words down. It’s always a juggle with projects. I’m not really sure what’s next on my agenda either, whether I’m going to write book 2 in the Outlaws series, book 4 in the Discord’s Desire one, or book 4 in Charmed in Charleston! Most likely the former two, not the latter one, because I’ve got plenty of time on Charmed in Charleston since the series isn’t coming out for another few years.

What I’m editing/marketing:

What I HAVE been doing is editing like a beast. I’m down to the final pass on Restrained Desires, and once I’m done that, then I’ll start diving into some new wordage, whatever that might be. On the editing front next is retooling parts of Saving Throw before I start sending it out on submissions before the end of the year. I’m already getting some beta reader eyes on Tempting Fire, so I’ll be able to get that rolling too, and then the final release of the year, Waking for Winter, is coming up!

Aubrey caught sight of her and waved. As she did, the woman by her side turned around too.

Chelsea, of course. The woman’s gaze locked on hers, and her grin widened. Chels had changed since their earlier brunch, slipping into a crimson dress that hugged her ass and black leggings and knee-high boots straight out of her fantasies. Her rich chestnut hair lay in tumbles across her shoulders, and the dim lighting of Renegades highlighted her sepia skin.

“Hey, Ky,” Chelsea said, crooking her fingers as she beckoned her over. Fuck, the simple gesture sent her body into overdrive. The woman seemed to take a sadistic delight in teasing her, but the more Chelsea did, the more Kyle could swerve past the awkwardness and find her words.

What story I’m currently working on:

I finished out Tempting Fire at 68k, far longer than I thought it would be, but I’m just thrilled to be done! The Charmed in Charleston series is one of my favorite tropes–a romance series featuring each member of a family. There’s only two more members left on the agenda–Cal, a rockstar romance, and Matty, an MC romance. While I’m not sure which book I’m going to dive into next, I do know I’m going to continue a series, whether it’s the final book in Discord’s Desire or the next book in the Outlaws series.

What I’m editing/marketing:

As far as edits go, I’m continuing to work on Restrained Desires, Rehoboth Pact #3. I’m excited to finish that up, because then I’ll have the whole trilogy submission ready. Next on my agenda for edits will be retooling some parts of Saving Throw, and then I’ll be diving into Tempting Fire once I get some beta reader eyes on that. I’m getting prepared for the cover reveal of Midnight Heist, which will be a month from today! And before that should be the final release of the year, Waking for Winter, which heralds the end of my Philadelphia Coven Chronicles series!

This fucking kiss.

If Mitch had thought for a moment he could live without Penelope Dukas, he’d been a damn fool. Kissing her was like coming home. His grip tightened on her nape and he settled his other palm against her hip, bringing their bodies flushed together. The woman tasted like tequila, lime, and salt, those flavors summoning so many memories. He wasn’t gentle with his kiss—no, he dipped his tongue in to claim her mouth like he’d starved.

They’d only been separated for a few days and it had felt like a lifetime. His chest burned with the sort of warmth that filled in all the hollow crevices that had formed over the years, filling up the cracks inside him. He might be broken, but this woman found a way to make him complete. Nell let out a soft moan as her body melted against his like utter perfection. The scent of her rose perfume lingered around him like a caress, and he took a deep inhale, trying to memorize every damn thing about this moment.

What story I’m currently working on:

I’m still Charming in Charleston with book #3, which I finally figured out will be called Tempting Fire! (Thanks to the lovely Landra Graf) I’m now at 52k, which means I’m getting closer and closer to the end of this book, which is awesomeness all around. I’m hoping by the time I report in next week, this book is finished. There’s a high chance it might be, which will open up room to work on another series continuation. The only question is, do I dive into Outlaws #2 or the final Discord’s Desire book?

What I’m editing/marketing:

I’m still jamming on the edits for Rehoboth Pact #3, and I think I know where I want everything to go. Once I finish that, I’ll have 3 completed novellas ready to rock and roll with whatever place picks the book up! I’m also super excited that Midnight Heist, Outlaws #1 is going to be coming out with Hot Tree Publishing! I got a glimpse at the cover already, and it’s gorgeous. Also, on the news front, I did just sign a contract, though I can’t say for what and with who yet, but I’m super excited either way. And the final new release for this year is Waking for Winter, which is scheduled to come out September 2nd! The end of my Philadelphia Coven Chronicles series!

Mitch ignored the sting of his knuckles as he strode to the back and grabbed his keys. He needed to burn rubber on the pavement something fierce right now. A scream bubbled in his throat, one he’d been holding back for years now.

One of these days, he’d just erupt, and no one would show up to bail his ass out of prison.

He might’ve spent his life helping other folks, but the truth remained that he’d never see a cent of that in return. No one deemed him worth it—not for long. Mitch headed out the back emergency exit, not wanting to deal with the customers or faking a face any more than he had to. Within seconds, he’d looped around the building to the street where he’d parked his bike. He slung his jacket on and then settled onto his bike, his nerves buzzing.

What story I’m currently working on:

I’m still working on Charmed in Charleston because it made the most sense once I finished with my Rehoboth Pact trilogy! I hit 46k in the book and I’m quickly heading toward the final 15k, which is great. I have it all mapped out, so I’m hoping it continues to move smoothly and comes out well. I’m not sure which book I’ll dive into after that, whether it’ll be Outlaws #2 or the final Discord’s Desire book. Regardless, I know the next one I work on will be another contribution to a serieses.

What I’m editing/marketing:

I’ve been working on the edits for Rehoboth Pact #3, Restrained Desires, and while I think I have a lot of the content under control, I do still need to tweak the ending a bit. I’m mulling over that one. I’m just hoping that one of these avenues pans out in finding a home for this series, because I’ll have all 3 books edited and ready to go by that time, which is awesome. The next book on the horizon is my last release for the year, Waking for Winter, which is scheduled to come out September 2nd and marks the end of my Philadelphia Coven Chronicles series!

She was in the middle of trying to divorce her husband, and the only thing she could think about was the man standing before her.

Of what it might be like to be possessed by this man, to be his.

Her mouth dried a little, but she closed the inches of space between them to press her lips to his. In the wake of the emotion broiling through the air between them, it was the only avenue that made sense. This touch made her synapses spark to life, made her feel the sheer transcendence she’d only experienced when she was a kid, heading out to Lake Moultrie for the day where she’d go fishing with her dad. The way the sun sank deep into her skin, the laughs with her siblings, the smell of sunscreen and fresh water in the air—all of it left such a brand on her she thought she’d never capture that light again.

Yet each encounter with Mitch brought her closer and closer.

What story I’m currently working on:

Well, I started into Charmed in Charleston #3 again! It’s going pretty smoothly and I figured out how the rest of the book will proceed, so I’m hoping to get some more of that done! I did figure out the basic premise of Outlaws #2 and the final Discord’s Desire books, so I’ll be diving into those ones next! I’m pretty excited. Plus, once I finish the third Charmed in Charleston book, I’ll have all the way until 2024 to write out the final two in the series.

What I’m editing/marketing:

I finished the edits on Rehoboth Pact #2, Opposed Desires, thank fuck! I also figured out the title, lol. I did already start working on Rehoboth Pact #3, Restrained Desires, because I’m a glutton for punishment! I’m just hoping that eventually I find a home for the first book in the series so I can enjoy the books coming out next year without having to worry about continuing the series. The next book on the horizon and my last release for the year is Waking for Winter, which will come out September 2nd and it marks the end of my Philadelphia Coven Chronicles series.

Nell didn’t miss the way Mitch carefully tried everything she’d prepared, taking a swig of the lemonade in between. The gratitude when their gazes cracked something open inside of her. She just wanted to wrap her arms around the kid who’d been neglected his entire life, who had to take on burdens far beyond his years from early on.

Every so often, his fingers would caress down her arms, through her hair, soft touches that sent her ablaze just as much as the rough ones. Nell swallowed the lump that continued to grow in her throat. From the way the waves glittered like the stars above to the tender, passionate man by her side, everything about this night was the sort of perfect that felt unattainable.

The sort of perfect that could never last in the light of day.

What story I’m currently working on:

Just reached 22k in Rehoboth Pact #3, and I definitely know where I want this story to go. Kyle and Chelsea are a mess of complexities, and I’m really enjoying the ride so far. I’ve been headfirst into this series for the entirety of quarantine, so it’ll be really weird once it’s done. Then I’ll have to figure out what’s next on the agenda–it should definitely be continuing one of my series, whether it’s Outlaws, Eros Tales (soon to be Charmed in Charleston), or the final Discord’s Desire book.

What I’m editing/marketing:

Well, I do have plenty of feedback to start editing Rehoboth Pact #2, but I’m in such a swing with writing the third book that I don’t want to put it on pause. I’ll probably wait another week or two before diving into those edits. I got the cover and finished edits for Tempting Ballad, which is perfect because the book is coming out on July 3rd! I’m pretty damn excited for this release. And then next on the agenda is Waking for Winter in September, and I think that’s it for my releases this year, unless something drastically changes. That’s okay though, because I’ve got a bunch of completed works just waiting for homes or releases that’ll hit next year, so hurray! (Like my whole Rehoboth Pact trilogy lol)

She tended to draw frat guys and assholes in like ants to sugar, and she wanted to know how to turn that shitty ability off.

Kyle had gotten quieter the moment he sat down next to them, and all Chelsea wanted to do was scream that she had no interest in this jackwad.

“How do you know you wouldn’t like switching if you’ve never tried being a submissive?” The guy asked in a rich voice that attempted cocky but came out more like a whine.

Chelsea pursed her lips, her nose wrinkling on instinct. “Just like you know you wouldn’t want me shoving an eight inch dildo up your virgin ass,” she shot back. She couldn’t tell for sure, but her instincts were screaming that he was the sort who clung to his fragile masculinity like a baby blanket, using the title of Dom to get domineering with women, not dominant.

World of fucking difference.

What story I’m currently working on:

I hit 11k in Rehoboth Pact #3, mostly because it’s been an absolute blast to write and Kyle and Chelsea are just popping off the page. I adore the two of them so far, my shy, awkward Taurus and my brazen Scorpio. Once I finish this trilogy, I’ll have a choice on my hands–whether to finish Eros Tales #3, start Outlaws #2, or dive into the final Discord’s Desire book. It’s going to be a game time decision, I think. Either way will be a lot more thought/planning involved, at least with the latter two. My Discord’s Desire series is at the culmination of all their plotting to overthrow society, and the Outlaws series requires a lot more planning ahead due to heists.

What I’m editing/marketing:

The beta feedback is already rolling in for Rehoboth Pact #2, so I’m probably going to start editing it next week, which is wicked fast. I got the first round of edits in on Tempting Ballad, which is exciting. It should mean the book is coming out sooner rather than later. I’m currently in a marketing lull, because I don’t know when Tempting Ballad is coming out yet? I think late June or July. After that will be Waking for Winter in September, capping off my Philadelphia Coven Chronicles series! As for Midnight Heist and Of Alchemists and Arsonists, I have no idea when the first book will come out and as for the second, it’s slated for January of next year!

The door creaked open, and Ky stepped inside. The woman looked a little lost as she scanned the tables, her short auburn hair rumpled from the wind, and her cheeks pink from the chill outside. Chelsea’s adrenaline kicked up a notch, something she willfully ignored as she lifted her hand to wave. The moment Ky’s gaze snagged on hers, those hazel eyes crinkled with one beautiful smile.

Chelsea was used to a world of guarded expressions, smooth comments, and extra doses of sarcasm, but there was something different about Kyle Walker. The woman might hide behind awkwardness and fumbling, but when she smiled at her—holy hell, it was enough to knock the breath from her chest. Not a sensation she was used to in the slightest, and probably one she should examine a bit more if she were honest with herself, which she rarely liked to be.

What story I’m currently working on:

I slowed down on Eros Tales #3 again. I’ve been struggling with it–not because the story or characters are uninteresting, but mostly because it’s tough to work up motivation when these books won’t be coming out until 2024. Still, I made some progress, hitting 33k. As for YA Mirror story, I ran out of steam fast for the same reason I ran out of steam with Paranormal Western–I haven’t been in the right mindset for paranormal/fantasy at the moment, though I still hit 3k in YA Mirror Story. What I put a major dent in on was Rehoboth Pact #2, which I started on a whim, even though I haven’t found a home for it yet. I hit 13k in the manuscript already, and I’m zooming toward the midpoint of the story.

What I’m editing/marketing:

I’ve got nothing of my own to edit, and the next edits I’ll be waiting for from publishers are the ones for Tempting Ballad and Of Alchemists and Arsonists. Right now, I’ve got Confined Desires, A Thief’s Crusade, and Saving Throw all out on submission, so it’s just the waiting game still. I’m getting ready for Of Coppers and Cracksmen to come out on May 19th–next week! Ellie and Bernard were so much fun to write. What story I’m currently working on:

I’m back on track with Eros Tales #3, hitting 30k this week! The pieces are starting to come into place, and while I’m not smitten with the project, I’m finding it easy enough to amble along with it. I also decided to start a different pet project, just because. So now I’m 2k into what is currently getting dubbed YA Mirror Story. I had the concept at random and decided to let it flow. Who knows how that’ll go, but it might offer a nice detour in the interim while I’m still waiting.

What I’m editing/marketing:

With Quarantine Romance aka Confined Desires out for submission now, I have nothing on my plate to edit, which feels WEIRD. So now I’m just waiting for three different submissions to see if I get to start book two in any of those series. Wish me luck. I’m hoping by next week I’ll have some sort of update/inclination. Last week we celebrated Rising for Autumn’s release! And now I’m ‘gearing’ up for Of Coppers and Cracksmen to come out on May 19th! With Nell pressed up against him, her perfume weaving around him like threads, he’d never felt so consumed in his life. He’d longed for a connection like this, a real one, for so long. And Nell was the perfect balance of sweetness and practicality, logical enough to bring up points others might miss in the process. The older Dukas siblings often talked about how much Nell needed protecting, but they’d missed what a capable, amazing woman she’d become in the meanwhile.

Somehow, just admitting the weight he carried out loud had lightened his shoulders a fraction. He knew he should confide in others, but with so many other folks it would be a fight, an argument, a clash of opinions that would leave him wearier afterwards. With Nell, he just knew she’d understand, even if the rest of the world didn’t.
