Word Count: 130
What story I’m currently working on:
Since I didn’t update the last one, consider this the shortest week ever! The word count should’ve been zero since I spent a ton of time catching up on beta reads, working on content editing jobs, and the rewrite for The Lies We Weave (Musketeer Pirates), BUT I may have scribbled down the opening lines for Forged Futures. Those shifters keep “hounding” me. Still, I’m determined to put down 10k into Hypnotizing Beat by the end of September.
What I’m editing/marketing:
I’m moving forward with The Lies We Weave. It’s got a fancy new name, is getting a total quality rewrite, and then I’ll be weaving in like 8 new scenes. Also, rewriting is a bitch and takes forever. WAY longer than fresh-writing a book. The next thing out on the horizon will be Bustles and Bells sometime later this year, probably closer to Christmas. I know our stories are due October 1st…mine may already be turned in.

Teaser of the week:
Line of the week:
The house never felt as empty as it did in mid-winter.
Lana thought the loneliness would’ve gripped her by the throat those early summer nights after Kyle died, but those didn’t compare to the brittle ache that had descended with the new year.
